I’ll build your website. Or tell you it’s not needed.

I make websites for businesses, built for phones: so people find you and get in touch. And custom software for companies.

When you don’t need me

Before asking me for a quote, check whether you’re in one of these three cases. You save money and I skip a project that isn’t needed.

  1. You only need to be found on Google Maps

If what you want is to show up when someone searches “hairdresser near me”, start with a Google Business Profile. It’s free and you can fill it in yourself in an afternoon.

  2. Instagram works for you

If your customers find you there and message you, you may not need more for now. A website adds value when you want to show up on Google, give more information than fits in a profile or take bookings without depending on a social network.

  3. Your current website is fine

If it looks good on mobile, people find it and they call you, don’t replace it just because it’s three years old. If in doubt, run the free check.

If your case isn’t here or you’re not sure, write to me and I’ll tell you just as plainly.

What your business website could look like.

Custom software for your company.

Software built around how your team works. It runs in the browser, with nothing to install, and brings together what’s now scattered across spreadsheets, emails and paper.

  • Software to keep track of your customers (CRM)

It’s my daily work: the CRM of a Barcelona property agency, used by more than 80 people.

  • A management tool

  • Software to make sense of your data

Barcelona Pulse, the one on the map, turns about four million rows a month into a map you can read.

  • Software you sell to other companies (SaaS)

Cuadra, the one in the second screenshot, is built this way. I built it from start to finish, although it isn’t for sale today.

What’s included and what the price depends on

We work out the details around your business, and you get it in writing, fixed, before we start.

What’s included

  • Structure and copy, worked out with you
  • Mobile-friendly design, fast and legible
  • Contact: call, WhatsApp or form
  • If needed, a catalogue, bookings or a way to edit the text yourself

What the price depends on

The simplest website is a single page: what you offer, where you are, when you’re open and how to reach you. From there, the price depends on the number of pages, on whether the copy and photos exist or need preparing, and on whether you need a catalogue, bookings or to edit the text yourself.

Making the website connect by itself to other software, such as your bookings, appointments, till or an online shop with payments, is quoted separately. If that software already gives you a button to put on the website, adding it is included.

What’s yours

Your website’s address (the domain) and the place where it’s stored (the hosting) are in your name and you pay for them; the quote tells you what they cost per year. You keep the website and all the passwords. If you ever want someone else to look after it, you take the whole thing with you.

After delivery, you look after it or, if we agree on it, I do: keeping it running, the changes you need and the backups. No lock-in.

How I work

Four phases. In each one you know what you get and what’s still to come.

  1. Understand the need

We talk about your business and what you want to achieve. Bring what you already have: copy, photos, logo or your current website. If something is missing, we sort it out then.

You get: a written summary of what I understood.

  2. What’s in and what it costs

I set out what the project includes, what it doesn’t, and what it costs.

You get: a fixed quote, with what’s in and what isn’t, in writing.

  3. Design and build

I work in blocks and show you progress so we can fix things early.

You get: intermediate versions you can review.

  4. Review and deliver

We go through it together, adjust and publish.

You get: the website or tool working, and an explanation of how to use it.
