If you have a PHP application that needs changes, I review it and quote specific improvements.

Maintenance and evolution

After delivery I can take care of updates, reviews and improvements. Scope, frequency and response times are agreed beforehand, in writing.

When you don’t need me

Before asking me for a quote, check whether you’re in one of these three cases. You save money and I skip a project that isn’t needed.

  1. You only need to be found on Google Maps

    If what you want is to show up when someone searches “hairdresser in Gràcia”, start with a Google Business Profile. It’s free and you can fill it in yourself in an afternoon: photos, hours, phone and reviews. A website comes later, if at all.

  2. Instagram works for you

    If your customers find you there and message you, a website won’t bring you more of the same. A simple page with hours, address and phone can wait until you need it.

  3. Your current website is fine

    If it looks good on mobile, people find it and they call you, don’t replace it just because it’s three years old. If in doubt, run the free check and see in thirty seconds what it gets right.

A project of my own

Cuadra: compare two lists and see where they don't match

My own project. When two lists should match and don't, someone ends up comparing them by hand. Cuadra imports both files, pairs the records and shows what matches, what's missing and what differs.

I designed and built it from start to finish. It's a sample of how I work: understand a manual process and turn it into a tool people understand.

    You get: a written summary of what I understood.

  2. Define scope and quote

    I set out what the project includes, what it doesn't, and what it costs.

    You get: a quote with the scope in writing.

  3. Design and build

    I work in blocks and show you progress so we can correct early.

    You get: intermediate versions you can review.

  4. Review and deliver

    We go through it together, adjust and publish.

    You get: the website or tool working, and an explanation of how to use it.

I’m Jaume. I develop tools that people use every day, and bring that experience to the websites I build for businesses. Based in Barcelona, I work with you to understand what you need and bring it to life.

What do I need to get started?

Know what you want to achieve and have at hand what already exists: copy, photos, logo, your current website if there is one. If pieces are missing, we sort that out in the first conversation.

I already have a website. Do you renew it or build a new one?

It depends on its state. I review it and tell you whether it's worth improving or starting over, and why.

Will I be able to edit the content myself?

Yes, if you need to. We decide it when defining the scope, because it changes the technology and the quote.

What happens after delivery?

You can take it over yourself or agree a maintenance plan with me, with a defined scope and frequency.

How does the quote work?

After understanding what you need, I send you a quote per project with the scope in writing. No obligation.

What if what I need isn't a website?

Tell me anyway. Many things done by hand can be connected or automated, and I'll tell you whether it makes sense.

Do you only work in Barcelona?

I'm in Barcelona and I like being able to meet in person, but I work remotely just the same.
